HOTEL Mt.Fuji MOMO AUNG（桃庵）です。
私たちは、富士山と山中湖のそばに旅館を開業いたしました。
この宿は、旅を楽しんでいただく場所であると同時に、戦争状態にある国の人々、とくにミャンマー人の教育支援につながる取り組みの一つとして生まれました。
学ぶこと、働くことが難しい現実
ミャンマーは長年にわたり、政情不安や武力衝突が続いています。その影響を最も強く受けているのが、未来を担う若い世代です。
本来であれば教育を受け、技術を身につけ、社会へ踏み出していくはずの時期に、「学ぶ場がない」「働く機会がない」という現実に直面している人が多くいます。
働く意欲があっても、技能を学ぶ環境や、職業経験を積む場所がなければ、安定した生活や将来への展望を描くことは困難です。
日本という場所が持つ可能性
日本では、働きながら技術やビジネスマナーを学び、経験を積み重ねていくことが、ごく自然に行われています。しかしこれは、世界的に見れば決して当たり前のことではありません。
私たちは、日本が培ってきた「働く現場で学ぶ文化」を、必要としている人々に届けたいそう考えるようになりました。
旅館という「学びの現場」
旅館の仕事は、言葉遣い、所作、心配り、文化理解など、人と向き合う中で身につく学びの宝庫です。
HOTEL Mt.Fuji MOMO AUNG では、旅館の運営を通じて、日本の職業観やサービスの基礎を学ぶ機会をつくり、将来につながる力を育むことを大切にしています。

Why This Hotel Was Created: Our Second Role as an Educational Anchor

We are HOTEL Mt. Fuji MOMO AUNG.
We have opened our Japanese-style inn (Ryokan) by the shores of Lake Yamanaka, at the foot of Mount Fuji.
While this hotel is a place for travelers to enjoy their journey, it was also born as part of an initiative to provide educational support for people in conflict-torn countries—specifically for the people of Myanmar.
The Reality: The Difficulty of Learning and Working
For many years, Myanmar has faced ongoing political instability and armed conflict. The younger generation, who hold the key to the future, is being hit the hardest.
At an age when they should be receiving an education, acquiring skills, and stepping out into society, many are faced with the harsh reality of having no place to learn and no opportunity to work.
Even with a strong desire to work, without an environment to learn skills or a place to gain professional experience, it is difficult to build a stable life or a vision for the future.
The Potential of Japan In Japan
It is considered natural to learn technical skills and business etiquette while working. However, from a global perspective, this is by no means a given.
We felt a strong calling to bring Japan’s culture of "learning on the job" to those who need it most.
The Ryokan as a "Place of Learning"
Working at a Ryokan is a treasure trove of learning that comes from interacting with others—encompassing language, deportment, mindfulness, and cultural understanding.
At HOTEL Mt. Fuji MOMO AUNG, we value creating opportunities to learn the foundations of Japanese professional values and service through our hotel operations, helping our staff foster strengths that will lead to their future success.
This is not about doing something extraordinary; we believe that true, solid learning is found in the careful, daily accumulation of work.
